We are small enough to make your visit special, but yet big enough to offer you privacy. Seventeen newly renovated, clean, comfortable rooms situated on four landscaped acres set back off Historic Route 7A and within a short distance of the famous Battenkill.

We are perfectly located just one mile north of Arlington, steeped in Vermont history, and only minutes from Manchester as well as Bennington. Numerous shops - from country crafts to designer - as well as an eclectic assortment of fine dining establishments can be found within a fifteen mile radius. Skiing is only a short drive to either Bromley or Stratton; with many cross country skiing and snowmobiling trails down the road. Visit us during one of our four fun-filled seasons and we're sure you'll be back to enjoy another.

ACTIVITIES to consider include a classic/antique car show, craft fairs, auctions, flea markets, roadside produce stands and/or pick your own berries, apples, pumpkins or cut your own Christmas tree!

ENTERTAINMENT varies from viewing original Grandma Moses' paintings as well as a re-creation of her studio at the Bennington Museum; the Norman Rockwell Gallery in Arlington, hosted by some of his original models; to the American Museum of Fly fishing; and private galleries and art festivals. The Dorset or Weston Playhouses, as well as Oldcastle Theatre, offer live entertainment as well.

POINTS OF INTEREST include many covered bridges nearby; Hildene, home of Robert Todd Lincoln; the Bennington Battlefield Monument; the Park-McCullough House; or a drive up Mount Equinox Skyline Drive.

SPORTS as diversified as ice skating, skiing the many nearby mountains, cross-country skiing or snowmobiling our pristine wilderness are favorite winter recreations. Biking, hiking, swimming, golf, fishing and tennis round out the year. For those looking for a more bucolic pastime, canoe down the Battenkill, relax at our large sparkling pool, or... lay out under a tree and do what everyone does best - absolutely nothing!
